Rogers Cup

One of the events 407 ETR is proud to be involved with is the 2009 Rogers Cup tennis tournament. The Rogers Cup, held annually at York University, is the largest, highest-profile sporting event in the 905-area. The tournament takes place right in our back yard, and we are extremely proud to be partnered up with an event that features the world’s top female tennis players.

As part of our silver sponsorship of last year’s tournament, 407 ETR donated $25,000 to the Jane/Finch Tennis League, which provides children, ages six to 14, with an opportunity to learn and play tennis.

In addition to supporting the League, these funds were also used to resurface tennis courts in the area, improving the facilities for over 3000 children in the community.
