For your convenience, there is no activation process after you have received your ETR Rewards Gas Savings Card in the mail. Your card is ready to be used by you or your family.

In order to receive monthly reloads of value, your card must be used at least once. Simply visit a Petro-Canada* station and swipe the card at the pump before you pick-up the nozzle to pump gas. Start using your gas card right away to maximize your savings.

On the second day of each month that you are in the program, your gas card will be automatically reloaded with savings. The value will be added to any balance remaining on the card from the previous month. However, you are not entitled to retroactive reloads. For example, if you receive your ETR Rewards Gas Savings Card in February and use it for the first time in April, you will only be eligible for reloads of value in May, June and July. In this case, you will have missed savings for March and April.
