Financial Hardship Program
The Financial Hardship Program is designed to help personal customers in plate denial who need to renew their licence plate and can't immediately pay their balance in full.
Eligibility Criteria
You may be eligible for the program if you meet the following criteria:
Your balance is over $5,000
Your account is currently in plate denial
You are able to pay 30% of your full balance as a down payment
You are able to make equal monthly payments to pay your remaining balance
How it Works
Once you've been approved for the program, repayment is based on the full amount owing.

Equal monthly payments will be arranged to pay off the remaining balance.

Plate denial is lifted and interest on the unpaid balance is stopped while enrolled.

Charges for trips taken while enrolled in the program are not included in the repayment plan.
The repayment term is based on the total amount owing:
A balance of $5,000-$9,999.99 is repaid over 12 equal monthly payments
A balance greater than $10,000 is repaid over 18 equal monthly payments
How to Apply

Call us at 1-866-237-6471 to speak with a Customer Service Representative. The following information is required to complete the application process:
Disclosure of income/expenses and assets
A credit check
Employment information
Bankruptcy information (if applicable)
Please note, the Financial Hardship Program is managed by C3 Canada. Please allow up to 30 business days from the date you apply to be notified about the status of your application.
A $30 application fee will be applied to your account, regardless of acceptance. Applicants who have previously been removed from the program will not be eligible to apply.
