Abigail Marcus
Head of Corporate Legal, US, Ferrovial SE
Abigail Marcus was appointed to the Board of Directors in September 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, and a Master of Laws from New York University School of Law.
Ms. Marcus joined Ferrovial SE (Nasdaq: FER) in 2024 and currently holds the position of Head of Corporate Legal for the United States. Prior to joining Ferrovial, Ms. Marcus practiced law at Latham & Watkins LLP in Washington DC and New York (public company representation and banking and leveraged finance groups), advising public and private companies across multiple sectors regarding transactional, strategic, and corporate governance matters.
Ms. Marcus previously served as the Director of the Corporate Law Center at Fordham University School of Law, where she conducted research and programming addressing pass-through voting, corporate governance, and sustainability. Ms. Marcus also practiced law in South Africa at the firm Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs (ENS). During her time in practice Ms. Marcus has led and participated in several pro bono initiatives.
