Andrew Alley
Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure, North America & Australasia Canada Pension Plan Investment Board
Andrew Alley was appointed to the Board of Directors in July 2013. Mr. Alley holds a degree in Finance from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
Mr. Alley joined Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) in 2007 and currently holds the position of Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure, North America & Australasia. Prior to joining CPPIB, Mr. Alley held positions in the Energy Investment Banking Group of RBC Capital Markets, and in the Business Development group of Pengrowth Energy Trust.
Mr. Alley leads CPPIB’s infrastructure businesses in North America, Asia and Australia and has played leadership roles in the execution of large global acquisitions in the infrastructure space and in the management of investments in portfolio companies at the shareholder and board levels.
Mr. Alley is a member of the Corporate Governance & Compensation Committee, Environmental, Health & Safety Committee, Audit Committee and the Executive Committee.
