Route Relief expanding to 8 free trips on January 1 , 2026
Starting January 1, 2026, the Route Relief Program will provide eligible customers up to eight free trips each month on Highway 407 ETR.

Route Relief is making a difference for thousands of drivers — saving time, reducing stress and opening doors to opportunities across the GTA. The program provides eligible customers up to six free trips each month on Highway 407 ETR. Since launching in November 2024, the program has delivered over $1 million in free travel and helping thousands of families connect, work and explore.
Eligibility Criteria
You may be eligible for the program if you meet the following criteria:
You are a resident of Ontario, Canada
You have a personal licence plate registered in your name that is not used for business (one eligible vehicle per household)
Your household size and income meets the eligibility requirements below
You have no outstanding balance with 407 ETR
You are not currently enrolled in a 407 ETR promotion
How it Works
Once enrolled in the program, participants receive a credit for up to the first eight trips on your monthly bill. The application process is managed by C3 Canada.
To confirm program eligibility, supporting documentation including proof of residency, proof of plate ownership and proof of income is required.
Up to the first eight trips are automatically credited on your monthly bill, including applicable tolls, trip toll charges and camera charges.
The program is valid for trips on Highway 407 ETR only (between QEW and Brock Road).
New Terms & Conditions will be effective as of January 1, 2026.
